1. EU Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Consumers in Ireland and the EU have the right to cancel their online order within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with EU consumer law.

To exercise this right:

  1. You must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of delivery.

  2. After notifying us, you have another 14 days to return the goods.

  3. Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.

This right applies only to consumer purchases (non-business customers).

2. BLUE PULSE ADVANCED SWIMMING POOL ENGINEERING LIMITED 30-Day Store Guarantee (Applies to Most Equipment)

In addition to your legal 14-day right of withdrawal, BluePulse offers an extended 30-day return period for most equipment products, provided that:

  • the item is unused,

  • is in resellable condition,

  • is returned in original packaging with all accessories and manuals.

This extended 30-day return period is an additional store guarantee and does not replace the standard 14-day EU right of withdrawal.

Returns requested after 30 days may be accepted or refused at our discretion.

3. Products Not Eligible for Return (Final Sale Items)

The following items cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged, unless faulty:

a) Pool chemicals

This includes chlorine products, oxidisers, algaecides, pH adjusters, flocculants, clarifiers, test reagents and similar consumables.

Reason: For safety, contamination, and traceability regulations, chemical products cannot re-enter the supply chain once dispatched.
Opened chemical containers cannot be returned under any circumstances.

b) Custom or Made-to-Order Items

Examples include:

  • cut-to-size liners or covers,

  • special-order products,

  • any item marked “non-returnable” or “special order”.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

4. Return Costs & Restocking Fees

Return shipping costs

For change-of-mind returns (14 or 30-day returns), customers are responsible for the cost and risk of return shipping, unless we explicitly confirm otherwise in writing.

Restocking fee

A 15% restocking fee may apply in the following cases:

  • change-of-mind returns,

  • missing, damaged, or heavily marked packaging,

  • missing accessories, manuals, or components.

No restocking fee applies to faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied items.

5. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your delivery upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours if:

  • the parcel is damaged,

  • chemicals are leaking,

  • you received the wrong item,

  • the product appears faulty or incomplete.

Please include photos and your order number.
Depending on the issue, we may arrange a replacement, repair, missing parts or a refund.

We provide warranty and post-warranty service for all equipment purchased in our shop.

6. How to Request a Return

Include your order number, description of the issue and photographs (if applicable).

Step 2 — Return Authorisation

We will confirm eligibility and provide the correct return address and instructions.

Step 3 — Pack the goods securely

  • Use original packaging whenever possible.

  • Include your name, order number and contact details.

  • (If chemicals are being returned under special agreement): ensure containers are sealed, upright and protected.

Step 4 — Return shipment

If free return shipping applies, we will confirm the method.
Otherwise, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage.

7. Refunds

After receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you via email.

  • Approved refunds are issued within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

  • Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to clear the transaction.

Refund amounts may be reduced for:

  • signs of use or installation,

  • damaged or missing packaging,

  • missing accessories or components.

Partial refunds or store credit may be offered if a full refund is not appropriate.

8. Exchanges

We do not offer automatic exchanges.
If you need a different product, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
