Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through the Blue Pulse online store, operated by Blue Pulse Advanced Swimming Pool Engineering Limited under the brand name Blue Pulse.

We deliver to Ireland and Northern Ireland. Blue Pulse has a delivery agreement with DHL and may use DHL for suitable domestic, Northern Ireland and international shipments, depending on the product type, weight, destination, courier acceptance rules and transport restrictions.

1. Order Processing and Dispatch Times

Orders are currently dispatched every Tuesday.

Orders placed before 18:00 on Monday are included in the weekly dispatch.

Orders placed after 18:00 on Monday are normally dispatched the following Tuesday.

We aim to move to daily dispatch from Monday to Friday in the future. Processing times may vary during busy periods, supplier delays, public holidays, courier delays or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

1. Shipping Methods and Rates

2.1 An Post Tracked Delivery

An Post tracked delivery is available for suitable parcels within Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Weight / Price including VAT:

0–2 kg: €9.00
2–5 kg: €11.00
5–15 kg: €13.00
15–20 kg: €16.00

Estimated delivery time: 1–3 working days after dispatch.

Tracking is provided through An Post Track & Trace where available.

An Post delivery may not be suitable for all products, including certain chemicals, liquids, hazardous goods, oversized items, fragile goods or products restricted by postal or transport regulations.

2.2 DHL Delivery

Blue Pulse has a delivery agreement with DHL and may use DHL for suitable parcel, equipment and international shipments.

DHL delivery may be used for:

selected equipment orders

higher-value products

international shipments

shipments requiring a tracked courier service

orders where DHL is more appropriate due to weight, dimensions, destination or product type

DHL shipping costs are calculated depending on parcel weight, parcel dimensions, destination, service type and any applicable handling requirements.

Tracking will be provided where available.

Some products, including certain chemicals, liquids, hazardous goods, oversized goods or fragile items, may be restricted or unavailable for standard DHL delivery depending on transport regulations, courier acceptance rules and product-specific safety requirements.

2.3 Large, Heavy or Specialist Equipment Delivery

The following items may be delivered using Blue Pulse’s own transport, DHL, pallet delivery or another suitable specialist delivery method:

heat pumps

commercial pumps

large filters

pool liners

oversized equipment

palletised equipment

commercial liquid chlorine or liquid acid deliveries

equipment requiring special handling

Delivery cost depends on:

distance

equipment size and weight

site access conditions

handling requirements

ADR or safety requirements where applicable

whether tail-lift, pallet delivery or manual handling restrictions apply

We will contact you before delivery to confirm the delivery method, estimated delivery date and any applicable delivery charges.

Click and collect is available by appointment only from:

You will receive an email when your order is ready for collection.

Please do not arrive for collection until your collection appointment has been confirmed.

Tracking details are provided once your order has been dispatched, where tracking is available.

Tracking may be provided through:

An Post Track & Trace

DHL tracking

tracking provided by another approved courier or pallet carrier where applicable

Blue Pulse delivery confirmation for own-transport deliveries

1. Damaged, Missing or Delayed Parcels

Please inspect your parcel immediately upon arrival.

Contact us within 48 hours if:

the parcel is visibly damaged

chemical containers are leaking

you received the wrong item

an item is faulty, incomplete or missing

the delivery appears to have been mishandled

Please include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the parcel, packaging and affected items.

Depending on the issue, we may arrange a replacement, repair, missing parts, courier claim, return or refund where appropriate.

1. Shipping Pool Chemicals

6.1 Standard Chemical Shipping

Chemical products must be handled, packed and transported safely.

Chemical containers must remain sealed, upright and protected during transport.

Opened chemical containers cannot be shipped or returned.

Certain chemicals may require additional handling due to ADR regulations, courier restrictions or product-specific safety requirements.

Some chemical products may not be eligible for standard courier delivery, including An Post or DHL.

6.2 Commercial Liquid Chemical Delivery — Blue Pulse Transport

We offer delivery of liquid chlorine and liquid acid to commercial clients using Blue Pulse transport, subject to availability, distance and safe access.

Delivery rates including VAT:

1–50 km: €50
50–100 km: €100
100–150 km: €150
150–200 km: €200

Distances above 200 km are priced individually.

Customers will receive:

a written delivery quote

a delivery date and time window

safety instructions for receiving chemicals where applicable

Chemical deliveries must be received in person by an adult. We do not leave chemical deliveries unattended.

The customer is responsible for ensuring safe access, suitable unloading conditions and appropriate storage arrangements for chemical deliveries.

1. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

If a delivery fails due to:

an incorrect address

an incomplete address

the customer not being available to receive the parcel

unsafe or unsuitable delivery access

refusal of delivery

lack of suitable unloading arrangements where required

then additional re-delivery charges may apply.

Shipping fees are non-refundable once goods have been dispatched, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.

1. Delivery Restrictions

We reserve the right to refuse, delay or cancel delivery where:

the product is unsuitable for the selected delivery method

courier restrictions apply

ADR or safety restrictions apply

the delivery address is incomplete or inaccurate

safe delivery cannot be reasonably achieved

delivery would be commercially impractical

the product requires special handling that has not been arranged

In such cases, we will contact you to agree an alternative delivery method, collection option, refund or order adjustment where appropriate.
